In the spirit of yesterday's beautiful post (thanks Mary Ann)...here is my favorite scene of the season. My nephew's school put on a live nativity at a local farm and it was priceless. I loved this moment in particular--Joseph cradling the baby Jesus.
I think it's hard to find moments of simplicity during the holidays and that can be disappointing for me. I have to readjust my focus again and again. But this moment...it was perfect. So humble and holy and simple--like I think that night was. I'm grateful for that. Wishing you all a very bright and happy Christmas. I love you!
p.s. This is a great read.
